Have you ever looked at a portrait and wondered how much time and effort it took the artist to paint it? Try Googling the title of this article and you will see that it can take from several hours up to several days to draw an illustration. Moreover, you will need at least some experience and practice to do so.

As technology evolves more and more tasks are becoming easier to complete. The introduction of tablets and digital drawings significantly simplified the whole process for beginners and those with non-traditional drawing backgrounds.

However, there is still a vast majority of people who do not know how to draw and don’t have the time or desire to do so. Taking all of these into consideration, dzook team pushed their imagination and developed a magic platform for all those who want to get an instant result with zero effort.

Many of you might already have heard of the dzook app and had a chance to try it. For all those who haven’t, here is a short description of it: dzook is a platform that allows you to convert your image into an illustrated portrait within several seconds thanks to the AI technology created by 3dzook that uses the database consisting of thousands of portraits provided by our artists to get the best and the most accurate result.

In other words, you simply upload a photo and wait several seconds until your portrait is ready.

Currently, there are two art styles available for you to try.

Glam
The first style we have introduced was the Glam style. Loved by many dzook followers the glam style represents the most realistic illustrated portrait style.

Anime
Inspired by Japanese manga and anime we came up with our own semi-realistic anime style for our users that is unique with characteristically big sparkly emotive eyes, pale skin, and plump lips of the character.

Here are several examples of what illustrations created in Anime style look like.

Currently, we are working on a new amazing style but we’ll keep the name in secret. If you have any guesses on what it is let us know in the comments.

Meanwhile, make sure to download our app for iOS or Android, create your illustrated portrait, share the result on social media, and tag @dzook.

So how long did it take to create an illustrated portrait? ;)
