Remember the last time you came across a video on social media? It was most probably several hours or even several minutes ago, right?

According to Social Media Today video is considered to be the most engaging content type across all social media platforms that drives more views, more response, and more engagement than any other posting option especially nowadays, amid the COVID-19 lockdowns.

To support the above mentioned statement below are presented some facts and figures:

  • The number of people watching Facebook Live content has drastically increased by 50% since January. In February 2017, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg noted that he “sees video as a megatrend”. Moreover, branded video content views have increased 258% on Facebook in the period from 2016 to 2017.
  • The TikTok app that is a video-sharing social networking service currently has 800 million active users worldwide. According to the report by Sensor Tower from April 2020, the app has been downloaded over 2 billion times worldwide. In the first quarter of 2020 the app broke the record by having 315 million downloads.
  • Video posts on Instagram get on average 150 comments by making video content the best way to generate engagement.
  • Tweets that include video have 10 times more engagement than those without with approximately 1.2 billion video views on Twitter per day.

The numbers can go on and on for each and every social media platform. The most important fact is that if you’re looking to engage your audience, video is the best way to do so.

But how to make your video different from billions of others? As a solution to that issue dzook is taking a step further and we are introducing you to our brand new feature that lets you convert your simple videos into illustrated animations with just one click, as always :) !
